3D / 4D Ultrasound
Now mothers-to-be can see their baby as he or she develops and grows in the womb. The 3d / 4d technology is also useful in gynecologic ultrasound. In many cases it can help the doctor to ascertain certain conditions of the uterus and ovaries better than conventional 2d ultrasound imaging. Obstetric 3d/4d and gynecologic 3d/4d are now available in our office.
Difference between 3D and 4D
3D Ultrasound is still image that renders the scanned image as is seen below. 4D is a real time view of the motion of the baby inside the uterus. With 4D you can see as the baby gestures, kicks, and even on occasion blinks or sucks their thumb. In our office we can provide printed still images, as well as a DVD movie of your child in the womb moving in 4D, as well as picture files saved to CD so that you can email them to friends or family or reprint from your own computer.
